Simply add the word for \"person\", <strong>\u4eba (r\u00e9n), after the name of the country.<\/strong> It would be something like saying \"someone from ...\". Look at these examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I'm Canadian: \u6211\u662f\u52a0\u62ff\u5927\u4eba\u3002(W\u01d2 sh\u00ec ji\u0101n\u00e1d\u00e0 r\u00e9n).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He's Chinese: \u4ed6\u662f\u4e2d\u56fd\u4eba\u3002(T\u0101 sh\u00ec zh\u014dnggu\u00f3 r\u00e9n).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are Spanish: \u6211\u4eec\u662f\u897f\u73ed\u7259\u4eba\u3002(W\u01d2men sh\u00ec x\u012bb\u0101ny\u00e1 r\u00e9n).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You are American: \u4f60\u662f\u7f8e\u56fd\u4eba\u3002(N\u01d0 sh\u00ec m\u011bigu\u00f3 r\u00e9n).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\"Where are you from?\"<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The way to ask a person his or her nationality in Chinese is similar to what we do in English. Usually, we wouldn't ask: \"Of which country are you?\", sounds a bit unnatural.  Instead, we go by <strong>\"Where<\/strong> are you <strong>from?\"<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Chinese, there's also more than one way to ask about a person's origin. Let's begin with the most common one, which literally means: <strong>\"You from where come?\".<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Subject + \u4ece (c\u00f3ng) + \u54ea\u91cc(n\u01cel\u01d0) + \u6765 (l\u00e1i)?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Where are you from?<br>\u4f60\u4ece\u54ea\u91cc\u6765\uff1f(N\u01d0 c\u00f3ng n\u01cel\u01d0 l\u00e1i?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Where is she from? <br>\u5979\u4ece\u54ea\u91cc\u6765\u7684\uff1f(T\u0101 c\u00f3ng n\u01cel\u01d0 l\u00e1i de?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To answer, you can either state the country's name, i.e., China (\u4e2d\u56fd; Zh\u014dnggu\u00f3), or say the nationality, in this case using the verb \"to be\" (\u662f; sh\u00ec): \"She is Chinese\" (\u5979\u662f\u4e2d\u56fd\u4eba; T\u0101 sh\u00ec zh\u014dnggu\u00f3 r\u00e9n.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another way to ask about someone's nationality or origin is with the \"\u662f... \u7684\" (sh\u00ec... de) structure. Like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Subject + \u662f (sh\u00ec) + \u54ea\u91cc (n\u01cel\u01d0) + \u7684 (de) \/ [or: \u4eba (r\u00e9n)]\uff1f<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Where is the teacher from?\" <br>\u8001\u5e08\u662f\u54ea\u91cc\u7684\uff1f(L\u01ceosh\u012b sh\u00ec n\u01cel\u01d0 de?)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He's German. <br>\u4ed6\u662f\u5fb7\u56fd\u7684\u4eba\u3002(T\u0101 sh\u00ec d\u00e9gu\u00f3 de r\u00e9n.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He is from Germany.<br>\u4ed6\u662f\u4ece\u5fb7\u56fd\u6765\u7684\u3002(T\u0101 sh\u00ec c\u00f3ng d\u00e9gu\u00f3 l\u00e1i de.) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ok with the countries in Chinese...
